The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) of Taiwan has announced that no additional cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were confirmed on May 5. The CECC reported that 530 additional cases related to COVID-19 were reported on May 4. As of writing, a cumulative total of 64,958 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 63,587. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 438 cases.
